belairdirect Scholarship Program
NSNU is pleased to announce that the 2026 belairdirect Scholarship Program is officially open and will remain open until June 30, 2026.
This year, belairdirect will award 50 scholarships each valued at $1,000, to students completing high school in 2026 and are enrolled in an undergraduate program on a full-time basis for the 2026-2027 academic year at a recognized publicly funded Canadian post-secondary.
The eligibility criteria to apply for the program remains the same whereby the applicant or applicant’s Parent/Guardian/Grandparent must be a member of one of our partnered Affinity groups (NSNU). The member is not required to have an insurance policy with belairdirect. Please see the scholarship webpage for full eligibility criteria:

Although insurance is about protecting the things we love, insurance is really about people, not things. Helping people when life doesn’t go as planned is what belairdirect does as an organization, much like our we do as nurses!
Because NSNU members go that extra mile to take care of others, belairdirect wants help take care of you by sponsoring the NSNU/belairdirect Educational Grant.
