Negotiations - Nurses vote to accept CBS agreement

The Provincial Negotiating Committee and Board of Directors of the NSNU is pleased to announce that the tentative agreement reached on September 2 with the Canadian Blood Services employer has been ratified.

Those who cast ballots on the Agreement voted 100% in favour of accepting the contract. This Collective Agreement is retroactive to November 1, 2012 and is effective until October 31, 2020 - securing the long-term future of benefits while maintaining wage parity with other nurses in the province throughout the lifetime of the contract.

Questions on retroactive pay must be forwarded to the CBS employer.

Congratulations.
