New Building Print New NSNU Office Building The Nova Scotia Nurses’ Union will officially move to our new building on October 31st. The moving process will begin on Friday, October 28th and should be completed by 4:30 pm on October 31st. During this time there will be some interruptions in our communication systems (phone and email) that may impact members. Mobile phone service should not be interrupted. Labour Relations Reps and Communications staff should also be accessible via mobile email. Telephone: The telephone system will be disconnected briefly as it is transferred over. Please do not call during this time as your call may go unanswered and any message left on the system could be lost. Please wait until service is guaranteed on November 1st. Email: While the NSNU internet server is being moved, the email system will be temporarily disabled. Emails you send with an nsnu.ca extension will eventually be delivered when our computers are reconnected. Once the system is up and running, staff and the board will make every effort to respond to emails in a timely fashion. Fax: We ask that members refrain from sending faxes to the NSNU office during the moving period. Faxing will resume on November 1st. The new mailing address for the NSNU will be 150 Garland Avenue, Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, B3B 0A7. All current telephone numbers and email addresses will remain the same. Staff without direct lines prior to the move will now have direct and individual numbers that will be functioning November 1st. Click here for a directory of all telephone numbers and emails. We look forward to welcoming you to the new office, which is more functional and has been designed to better accommodate our staff and members’ needs. It has been a long time in the making.
